Friends

So I can't not write a quick post about our Elko friends. This week has been a lot of fun but it is bitter sweet. Jake and I have been very fortunate to make some wonderful friends since we moved here almost 2 years ago (Can you believe it has been almost 2 years??). Almost instantly we became friends with a couple who lived in our apartment complex that we started out in. As the months have past we have met others and as of right now we have a really fun group of people that we love to get together with. We all have young kids and we are all enjoy getting together.

There isn't a week that goes by that we aren't hanging out with someone. The wives are especially lucky because this past year we have done story time, mommy school and park picnics pretty much every week. Sometimes I get to see my friends and hang out and talk almost every day. I love it and the kids love it. Sadly every so often someone ends up leaving and it is a pretty big bummer.

This week our very first Elko friends are leaving us. It sucks. Lynsie is going to think I am such a dork for even posting this but I have to. They have been so good and they really are the couple that has glued a lot of us together. We ended up having a non-goodbye, goodbye party this past weekend and it was so fun. Joey, Lynsie, and Frank we will miss you. You might have visitors very soon though :)
