Even though he is messy, grumpy, and keeps me awake at night, I love his cute face.

Warm and Gooey Fuzes' for Dad

During the past few weeks we have enjoyed the warmer weather. One of the things that Nathan has loved are the summer treats. Last year at the end of the season we bought a little fire pit when it was on sale. We have already used it a couple of times to make Smores.

This past weekend we celebrated fathers day for a couple of days. I needed to go to Utah for some business so we started early on Wednesday night. We started up the fire pit and then had a camp out in the family room. It was a lot of fun for everyone.

Nate and I also set up some fun treats and decorations for Jake. It was really fun and we enjoyed celebrating the dad in our home.

Jake we love you and we are thankful for all that you do. Even though we didn't get to spend the real Fathers Day together I hope you enjoyed our Fathers Day weekend extravaganza.

A shout out

I just want to say congratulations to my little brother for getting engaged this past weekend.

Bath Time

Lately we have been teaching Andy to self feed. Though it makes life a little easier it also makes meal time a lot messier. The following pictures are a usual occurrence following dinner time.

Nate also likes to get in on the action

Sidewalk Chalk

So blogging and I have been on bad terms lately. Part of it is laziness and the other part is actually being busy. With wedding season in full swing and I have been keeping busy taking pictures of everyone but my own family. Thankfully there are a few things I have documented over the past couple of months. Hopefully I can catch you up in the next week or two with a few posts. For today you get two :)

Warm weather brings a lot of outside play time at our home. I can honestly say that we spend very little time inside the house most days. It makes me very happy. One of Nathan's favorite things to do is play with friends. We have a play group that we get together with a few times a week but we also have sweet neighbor kids that like to come and visit and play with Nate. The sandbox is a much loved activity but the favorite is sidewalk chalk.

A few weeks back (probably more than a month) our friends Taylor and Brianna come over and we pulled chalk out for the first time this season. It was very fun. I was running in and out of the house because it was almost dinner time. One of the times I was in the house the kids got the great idea to cover themselves with the chalk. I had to get my camera out and take pictures. Obviously they had a lot of fun. The only bad part was when I had to call their mom and let her know that her kids were going to come home this way due to my bad parenting. Hopefully she wasn't too mad.
