Terrible 2's

I am one of those people that thinks their kid is perfect. Overall Nathan is pretty awesome. He is good in church. We get him to eat almost everything (sometimes there is a little barganing involved..."you can have some chocolate if you eat your peas") He is very good at playing the clean up game. Plus he is a great snuggler. Overall I am happy.

All of the sudden I have been feeling the winds of change. Lately he has been testing me. Hitting is the biggest issue right now. He is good around other people but for me it is a constant battle. That plus extra fussyness due to an earache that has lasted for over a month and I am one frazzled mom.

Thankfully he is cute and he takes naps. I have found no matter how upset I am at him. After I send him to bed after a fussy morning I am always excited for him to wake up.

I took these pictures the other day. He was taking a longer nap than needed so I decided to wake him up. He was so cute I decided to take a few pictures along the way.

He loves his animals...and buzz :)

He always kisses his bear for a few minutes. It helps him decided if he is going to be happy or crabby.

Decision made...he will be naught ;)

This was one of those naught moments. When does dumping the last of the cereal eating all of the marshmellows and smashing the rest into dust become cute?...haven't decided.

On another note. For v day we kept it simple at the Cefalo home. I decided I missed Trio and I took matters into my own hands. Jake and I go to Trio as often as living 4 hours away will allow (once maybe twice a year). Our favorite thing in the whole world is the Rosemary Flat Bread...oh my! This way my attempt at it. It turned out amazingly close to the real thing. The 2 things that were a little off was 1) the didn't have ANY red peppers at the store yesterday...seriously! 2) The sundried tomatoes were a little dried out. I think the costco jars of sundried tomatoes would have added that extra pazazz. Otherwise it was fabulous and Jake thought I was amazing:)

Nathan did too but I am pretty sure it is because of the chocolate covered strawberries :)

Now onto March. I am done with winter.
