The boys

I took these pictures of Nathan and Andrew. They make me so happy. I cannot believe they are my boys. Time is flying by for me so I thought I would give you a quick update with the pic's.

It is hard to believe but Andy is one month old. I can hardly believe it. He is already getting so big. In the past week he has all of the sudden developed a double chin and seems to be growing out of all of his newborn clothes. He is still waking me up every 2 hours which is a little crazy. Especially since Nathan has been having sleep problems lately. Between the two I am getting very little sleep on Jakes work nights. It is exhausting but so worth it.

We made a visit to the doctor last week for Nathan's 3 year appointment. He is currently 38 1/2 inches tall (that is 1 1/2 inches away from going on every ride at Disneyland) and weighs 34 pounds. He is completely healthy and about the 60% for his height. He may need his tonsils out if his sleep problems persist but we are hoping to avoid that for a little bit. He is growing up so fast it seems like yesterday that I he was my newborn.

This week we had the stomach flu hit (not cool with a newborn in the house) poor Nathan all of the sudden started getting sick on Monday afternoon. By the evening he was totally miserable and he was up most of the night. We had planned to camp out in the backyard that evening so it was terrible timing. Jake and Nathan were so excited to lay out in the tent and instead Jake sat up most of the night holding him through the worst of it. The next afternoon a fever hit and poor Nate said his ear was hurting. Thankfully we ended up getting into the doctor at the last minute. Turns out that Nathan had a terrible ear ache. Thankfully once he got on some medicine things made a turn for the better and he is doing much better today.

Though life is a little crazy but it is wonderful. All of these things are no fun to go through but it makes me love my kids and husband more and more. Jake and I would do anything for these boys.
