Halloween is near

As the countdown to halloween enters its final days we have been getting Nathan excited. That doesn't really take much. We really only need to take a trip to the store and walk down the halloween idle. We have found that Nathan is crazy about all things halloween so the little things go a long way.

Early in the month we made a trip to the store as a family and bought a few decorations.

Sadly the train on it was broken within a day due to curious little boys but it is still cute.

Next was halloween cookies. We bought cookie cutters last year and Nathan has been asking to use them forever. They lived up to all of the hype. Nathan loved them.

The cookies started to crack and it was tragic.

Thankfully it tasted good so the sadness was short lived.

There was lots of yard work to be done. Grandma and Grandpa Cefalo came out and helped us get things ready. Nathan enjoyed being a helper to Jake and grandpa. The yard is now ready for winter but we will still have some major work to do since we have a ton of trees and they are currently losing their leafs.

Lastly we started doing a home preschool with some friends this month. Nathan has loved it. This week we did. H is for Halloween. We were in charge so we dressed up in our halloween costumes and after we did our projects we made cookies and wassail and took pictures.

Andy also took part in these activities as he snoozed in his swing. Sadly no pictures but I promise he is cute. We are heading to Utah this weekend to bless Andy. I am pretty sure we will have plenty of pictures to blog next week :)

Happy Halloween!
